On October 20, 2022 to be exact, the University of Education Indonesia celebrated the 68th UPI Anniversary. With the adoption of the theme "Awakening Work and Innovativeness Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045", a series of Dies Natalis events have been carried out offline, attended by invited guests and some online which can be accessed via zoom and live streaming YouTube.
In commemoration of the Dies Natalis, UPI gave awards to several lecturers who teach at the Indonesian Education University, both on the Bumi Siliwangi Campus and in other Kamda-kamda. One of the awards given to young lecturers who are quite famous for being innovative in their creativity, namely Mr. Syifaul Fuada S.Pd.,M.T won his achievement as ranked 3rd in the Non-Educational Innovation Category Award with the tool he made "GATEWAY FOR UPISMARTHOME V.1.0 " It is hoped that in the future this tool can help UPI become a Leading and Outstanding Study Program not only in the field of science, but especially in the field of Computer Science education at the National level up to the National level. For the achievements of UPI for 68 years, UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) has become a rapidly growing university in the field of Education and Technology in the archipelago. With the hope that in the future UPI will be even more superior and become a pioneer so that it can produce outstanding students and innovate towards Indonesia EMAS in 2045.
