Birthday celebration or known as "Dies Natalis" is a sacred annual moment for the entities in it. Anniversary is an event to celebrate various achievements and nostalgia for the past few years how long it has been a process to get to this stage. The same thing happened at the Indonesian Education University (UPI), one of the campuses in Indonesia that has an educational culture in almost all scientific fields. Bumi Siliwangi witnessed the festive celebration of the 68th UPI Dies Natalis with the theme "Awakening to Work and Innovativeness Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045".
The UPI Anniversary celebration presents various magnificent and unforgettable performances through a carnival performed by each entity that is able to represent the concept of customs from each region in Indonesia. DKI Jakarta, Banten, North Sumatra, NTT, even entities outside Indonesia represented by international students also enlivened this moment. Various traditional performances ranging from dances, traditional clothes, musical instruments, and various regional arts were performed lively. The traditional carnival accompaniment enlivened the streets of the UPI campus and became the main attraction, not only students, but the whole general public were very enthusiastic. Food outlets and snacks are also available at the celebration and are able to add diversity to it.
Another formal agenda presents various achievements of UPI over the past 6 decades. Various awards received by UPI, lecturers, and students became the main moment of UPI's achievement in carrying out its role in Indonesia as the largest education campus in Indonesia. Scientific concepts and ideas are proof that they are always up to date in developing scientific fields, especially in the realm of education. Its implementation is also evident through various community services carried out by students in advancing the quality of education in Indonesia. All of these series are of course in order to realize the UPI concept, namely Leading and Outstanding.Â
